To use SupaCreate, you need to connect your own AI API key. This enables Supacreate to generate content using the model of your choice — whether that’s OpenAI, Mistral, Anthropic, or any of the other supported providers.
The connection process happens during your first page creation inside a website. Here’s how it works step by step:
🧱 Step 1: Create a New Website
On your Websito dashboard, click the “New” button in the top bar to create a new website.
Give your website a name (e.g. "My Website") and click Create.
📄 Step 2: Add a Page to Your Website
After your site is created, you’ll be redirected to the website builder.
Now, click the “+” icon on the left sidebar to create your first page.
Enter a page slug, such as:
index(for the homepage)aboutpricingblog
Then click Create.
🔑 Step 3: Connect Your API Key
Once the page is created, the AI Widget will appear in the bottom-right corner.
Click the AI Widget icon, then click the stars icon to open the API management modal.
Next, click “Create new” to add your API key.
In the modal:
- Select your AI provider (e.g. OpenAI, Mistral, Anthropic)
- Enter the model name (e.g.
gpt-4-turbo,claude-3-opus) - Paste your API key (from your AI provider dashboard)
Click Save to confirm. You're now connected!
